Moduli of spaces with prescribed homotopy groups

چکیده
We describe a homotopy-theoretic approach to the theory of moduli realizations Blanc-Dwyer-Goerss, reproducing their obstructions realizing given Π-algebra as homotopy groups pointed space. Our techniques are based on ∞-category PΣ(Sph) product-preserving presheaves finite wedges positive-dimensional spheres, leading more conceptual and streamlined arguments.

We obtain explicit formulas for the rational homotopy groups of generalised symmetric spaces, i.e., the homogeneous spaces for which the isotropy subgroup appears as the fixed point group of some finite order automorphism of the group. In particular, this gives explicit formulas for the rational homotopy groups of all classical compact symmetric spaces.

We study the global structure of moduli spaces of quasi-isogenies of p-divisible groups introduced by Rapoport and Zink. We determine their dimensions and their sets of connected components and of irreducible components. If the isocrystals of the p-divisible groups are simple, we compute the cohomology of the moduli space. As an application we determine which moduli spaces are smooth.
